Example 2 — odds on the favourite:
Team B to win — decimal 1.25 = fractional 1/4 = American -400
American minus odds show how much you need to stake to make ৳100 profit. -400 means a ৳400 stake returns ৳100 profit.
Return on a ৳1,000 stake: ৳1,250 (৳250 profit).

- Fractional format comes from British tradition — the numerator is the profit, the denominator is the stake.
